entrepreneurship is very good in Cyprus. you turn up with your suitcase and lay it on your hotel bed ready to entrepreneur up the place.
will you decide to tackle the sophisticated tech market in Cyprus? you could invent and sell a drinks cooling box that will rival the Cypriot 2022 model of ice cubes in a plastic bin, tried and tested since 1923.
perhaps you will make a kraft beer startup, to rival the KIO. give the cypriots a second choice of beers. who knows
It’s a good place for tech entrepreneurs, as long as they work remotely in some other country 😊

Entrepreneurialism is supposed to be easy ?
If you’re a non-EU solopreneur, the place is a nightmare for opening a bank account, registering a company, applying for residency, etc., unless you pay for unnecessary service providers.
It’s a great place to live, but extremely inefficient at the above. Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, etc. can do the above in a matter of 2 weeks. In Cyprus, you have to wait 5 months for an interview slot in migration, and you won’t receive your plastic residency card before the year is up :)))) Welcome!
