U.S. bomber flights prompt Russia, China to announce military cooperation

  1. I’m telling you, WW3 will be Russia + China vs. “the West”.

And with nationalistic tendencies on the rise everywhere, I fear this might come sooner rather than later (oe hopefully never)

  2. Russia will never actually side with China in a major war. China has consistently shown in the past decade (I’m not talking 1950), that it bullies every single neighbor that it can get away with bullying. This even includes Russia, with China claiming Vladivostok, saying that it was historically Chinese.

An enemy like America is much better than an ally like China. It’ll never happen

  3. The difference is the trust between the US NATO, Australia Japan etc is much much stronger than the trust between Russia and China ever will be.

A Russia China cooperation is more similar to the Nazi Germany USSR pact. All good once they have a common goal but before long they will be up against one another

  4. It is better to be here ready to protect the peace, thank to take blind shetler across the sea, rushing to respond only after freedom is lost.

Isolationism never was and never will be an acceptable response to tyrannical governments around the world.

And this is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater’s “peace through strength”.

Winston Churchill said, “The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we’re spirits — not animals.” And he said, “There’s something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.”
