It looks like it’s about to pop out of the terrace from the squeeze either side.
I know a couple that paid over 600k for an old 65sqm house in the Docklands
You couldnt fit 3 actual beds in there never mind bedrooms.
That’s a nicely done house really close to the city. Half a million for this isn’t bad compared to some of the shit I’ve seen.
I never understand most of these postings of individual houses for sale. The odd one is priced ridiculously but most are just priced in line with the general market. House prices are stupid high, but I know that without seeing this house. East Wall’s not a great area, but the house is finished well inside, and it’s a 3-bed in Dublin….
Lovely property but that jump from 250-495k is tear inducing.
Does it come with a shotgun for personal safety?
Principle en suite bedroom lies at the top of the stairs, where tf did they squeeze a stairs in.
What’s wrong with East Wall? Lovely inside but kind of what I’d expect right now but that, seen a lovely high ceiling for €487, massive extension, lovely house.
That’s tiny for the price
That gaff is so narrow! I’m picturing people shuffling sideways to get around inside 😆
Am I meant to be outraged here or what? It’s a nice house, 3 beds so could fit a few kids in it, right in the middle of the city, what is the problem?
€500,000 and you have to drag your wheelie bin through the house.
Two things:
1. it’s East Wall, not the best part of the city, what with Sheriff Street being not that far away and that’s not a place you ever want to find yourself. To say it’s a shit hole is doing an injustice to shit holes.
2. Some houses in the area of East Wall have a history of flooding and damp.
These were going for about 75-100K in 2010. We looked at one. They are insanely small. They were not worth it then and at 500K you would want to love debt.
There’s no way that house goes for that price. It will sell for at least 10% over asking, but wouldn’t shock me if it was 20% higher.
Here we go again. This is not, I repeat, not bad value in the current market with a huge scarcity of supply.
97m2, fully refurbished, close to town… Why not?
I have seen absolute ruins in Rathmines selling for that price.
Also for context, last month I bought an apartment for 361k (75m2, 2 bed, 1 bath, large balcony, on Cork St near LIDL).
nearly 100 metres, close to the city, nicely redone, I don’t see the problem?
Where are the wardrobes
3 ben 1 window
I realise it’s important to talk about but the incessant doom and gloom isn’t doing much for my mental health. Gonna unsub for a bit.
Demolish the cottages and build 10 times as many units on the site instead.
That price is off the wall!!!
I’m praying for the comet at this stage.
In a hole, in the ground there lived a hobbit
No protection in a gaff like that when the junkie apocalypse starts.

They bought it for €250K in 2016 and renovated it.
The fact that a property like this exists 15 minutes walk from O’Connell is ridiculous.
Really nice property for that price. Quality finishes throughout
Seems reasonable considering the amount of work gone into it.
[MyHome link](https://www.myhome.ie/residential/brochure/12-hawthorn-terrace-east-wall-dublin-3/4605377), since the Times even paywalls their real estate ads for some reason…
Bit bland but cute
Very nice looking house

I feel like this is more ridiculous myself – https://lisney.com/property/apt-111-salthill-monkstown-co-dublin/
