AND SUPERVISOR OKAY, COMMUNICATIONS FROM A WASHINGTON ADDRESS, WHICH CBS AND CNN REPORT IS MCCONNELL’S HOME. DESCRIBE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON IN CARDIAC ARREST. MITCH MCCONNELL WAS NOT IDENTIFIED IN THE AUDIO, BUT THE CALL CAME IN THE MORNING OF JUNE 14TH. THAT’S THE SAME DAY THE 84 YEAR OLD WAS ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL, ALTHOUGH THEY HAVEN’T YET SAID WHY HE WAS TAKEN THERE. THE SENATOR’S OFFICE JUST RESPONDED TO OUR REPEATED REQUEST TO CONFIRM HE IS STILL IN THE HOSPITAL. THEY RELEASED A STATEMENT WHICH READS, QUOTE, SENATOR MCCONNELL APPRECIATES THE OUTPOURING OF SUPPORT HE’S RECEIVING WHILE HE CONTINUES HIS RECOVERY IN THE HOSPITAL.
