As someone who was not born in Belgium yet spent part of his childhood and is now living here as an adult after years of living in various other countries, I think a lot of Belgians have this negative trait that makes them doubt themselves and their country. Belgium is one of the most developed, richest, and actually very balanced countries on the planet. Yes, there are issues that should be solved, but guys you are better than 99% of the countries out there. If you do not believe me, go and live abroad, even in other developed nations in order to understand this.
