  1. Shit that cop really doesn’t like bad reviews.

Imagine the effort that clown put in using taxpayers resources to get that information, but yesterday we have posts with scumbags stealing a bike in broad daylight in the capital and strolling away.

  2. That’s fucking cat.

If he’s willing to do that as a result of a negative comment on fuckin adverts, what does said Garda do if he takes a liking to / dislike to a citizen during the course of his day to day duties?

Scary shit, lunatic needs to be found out. Problem is the cunts close rank to protect each other, prosecuting a Garda like getting blood from a stone

  3. Wow. That’s disturbing. Firstly that the Guard did it, secondly that it was so easy and seemingly routine for him to abuse his powers in this specific way. I suspect it’s not his first rodeo.

  4. I hope this Garda gets nailed. They have been doing this for decades but now it’s harder to do with IT but back in the day they would look up reg plates if they wanted to know more about someone and they used pulse for many personal reasons.

Unfortunately many of the members have a chip on their shoulder like they are above us ordinary folk. Time to knock a few of them right to the ground.

  5. That’s abuse of power he is defo getting sacked for that. It’s actaully one of the things they are completely clamping down on in the guards I believe… its shocking, its worse than high level corruption in some ways, cause it just makes the Gaurds look so mickey mouse. Abusing power cause you can’t take a bad review, jmaj.

  6. Between this and that story from someone on here the other day about a gard texting a woman on WhatsApp after she gave in her details over some incident, it seems like there are some seriously thick Gards who have no concept of respecting civilians privacy

  7. That Garda sounds like a total mentalist. Total misuse of Garda powers.

As an aside, it is worth being aware the Gardaí do use info scraping to contact you for ongoing investigations. I had a Garda in Kevin St do it to me recently and he emailed me asking could I ring him. It really freaked me out but I went to my local Garda station and apparently it is a pretty common way they contact people these days.

  8. The old Irish character flaw of “I’ll Show Him” – even if means risking my career and Government pay check.

  9. I hope adverts.ie get kicked in the balls over this, if it turns out someone just rolled over and provided the information without due diligence.

  10. Good to see the guard was so thick and ignorant in believing this foreigner would be scared and not report it.
Pure thug and I’m sure anyone convicted using his testimony with a good lawyer will be excited

  11. If it does transpire that a guard is actually behind this they need to fucked out the door immediately.

Extraordinarily gross misconduct made up of harassment, blackmail, threats, and abuse of office should get them fired and jailed.

  12. So, the girl last week who was getting perved on, then this week, this fella.

Makes you wonder what else isn’t reported on.

  13. I would have thought that he could do a subject access request to [adverts.ie](https://adverts.ie) for the actual paperwork they received requesting his information which would probably include the garda in questions name

  14. So the garda can just full out a form and get all this man’s info under the false pretense that the man is a criminal being investigated.. casual abuse of power, simple as that..

The man inturn has to go to the freakin HIGH court to force the commissioner to release the guards name just so an investigation can happen!!

I’d be surprised if I didn’t know any better..

  15. This is fucking beautiful. I hope he sues the hole off that Garda and the Garda rightfully loses their job and everything that comes with it. I’m sick of these crooks hiding behind a badge.

  16. Once again the Gardai as an organisation come out looking like absolute tools because, as usual, they try to dodge any level of accountability or transparency. Allowing themselves to be dragged down by every shite garda rather than doing the right thing. Standards are so incredibly low in that place. Remember Maurice McCabe…….
