Doesn’t affect Freesat, correct?
I specifically bought my current telly way back when because it supported Freeview HD and boy was that a waste of a feature.
Freeview HD has been a complete waste, with the major broadcasters (BBC, ITV, C4) supporting it with a declining number of channels, and that’s about it. Yeah I know, QVC and Quest too, but it’s hardly a scintillating line-up.
Hahaha – and we still can’t get BBC local news in HD here on the South Coast, even on FreeSat. WTF BBC!?!
Didn’t realise BBC News HD was shutting down on Freeview, that’s annoying.
Okay I admit I panicked on a linked article on that story when I mistakenly thought they were getting rid of CBS reality for a second. Where else can I watch garbage like Snapped:Killer Couples and cheapo true crime rubbish hosted by Donal Macintyre?
But it turns out they’re binning CBS Justice. The pointless halfway house between CBS reality and CBS drama. Phew.
