Going by this meme I’m on the floor in the middle. Have a job but have to sign on temporarily for an indefinite amount of time.
The best thing is there is no fixing this and there is not even any political will to try. We are fucked no matter what we do.
Personally I think we should all consider packing it in and getting the social welfare because slaving away for 10 hours a day to come out with nothing is fucking mental so we may as well enjoy life while we watch the world burn around us.

I am getting the feeling though we have an entirely new generation now that don’t remember the grim days of 08 and 09 let alone the utter misery of the 1980s. In that they think this is as bad as it might get..

I just hate being poor which is the case either way. Current salary is 20 quid more than the PUP. Only difference is now I have fuck all time to do things I actually care about and no savings to take time off.
Yeah pretty much. I was happy working despite earning fuck all, it still helped me get by but after losing my job I’m back to being depressed as shit doing nothing but hopeless job searching and with mounting bills and that’s with disability assistance so I can’t imagine how hopeless it is for ablebodied people right now.
