Since his dominant victory at the PDGA European Open, Buhr has yet to return to the podium on the EuroTour swing, finishing T5 at the Swedish Open before the Ale result. Despite already accomplishing more than most players could dream of at just 21 years old, Buhr still has one notable European achievement left to check off his list: a DGPT Elite Series victory overseas. Still holding a commanding lead in the DGPT Powerball World Standings, Buhr enters Heinola with a chance to end his EuroTour swing on a high note before returning to the United States after the PDGA USWDGC break. 2️⃣ Can Calvin Finally Convert in Europe?

Despite the recent struggles, Anttila still owns one of the biggest accomplishments of 2026 with his PDGA Pro Major victory at the Champions Cup, and Heinola provides a chance to remind the field why he remains one of Europe’s premier players.

Anthony Barela is another major name looking to capitalize, entering as one of the highest-rated players in the field while still searching for his first victory of the season. Currently sitting 6th in the DGPT Powerball World Standings, Barela has recorded three top-5 finishes in 2026, including a podium finish, but has yet to fully convert his consistency into a win.

Meanwhile, the final European Elite Series stop creates a massive opportunity for the homegrown talent in attendance.
