WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) – Beaufort County Community College has signed a new agreement with Appalachian State University that will allow students to transfer into its Bachelors of Health Sciences program.
According to the release, the Memorandum of Understanding will allow those with an Associates of Applied Science from BCCC can transfer directly to the App State program.
These are for students who want to build skills and gain experience through the bachelor program either in-person or online.
“This agreement gives our graduates a clear and affordable route to a four-year degree without starting over,” said Bill Ziegler, dean of Arts and Sciences at BCCC. “It recognizes the training our students already have and rewards them for the work they have put in.”
The community college says that those who are interested can contact their advising center for more information on eligibility and enrollment.
