  1. – Rammed two patrol cars while leading gardaí in a high-speed chase through two counties

    – Driving with only three tyres while the fourth wheel had no tyre, causing sparks to fly from the rims as he was pursued by several patrol cars and a garda helicopter

    – Gardaí described Fox throwing bags of white powder which they suspected was cocaine from his open car door as he drove at speeds of over 100kmph from Dublin city centre

    – Proceeding at speed south down the quays where he broke a number of red lights and snapped off a taxi-driver’s wing mirror.

    – Rammed into a garda Ford Mondeo.

    – Drove into the path of oncoming traffic and around a roundabout the wrong way before ramming a second garda car

**Judge Martin Nolan handed down a sentence of three and a half years, which he suspended in full**

That is some spectacular shit, and of _course_ it’s Nolan…

  2. Is there any approach for the Irish public to have him removed?
Looking at his professional sentencing on past cases, it seems fairly shocking. Appears to be failing at his job so, why is he employed?

  3. >“I wanted to crash and kill myself and take youse with me,”

He wanted to murder gardaí, but it’s ok because he apologised afterward.

  4. Compassionate judge and the bloke is doing well and sober. Great job! Yay! A happy ending rather than more trauma!

  5. “Fox works full time with Dublin City Council

Seems he has a history of trauma etc but still… drunk driving? Crashing into cops?

I don’t believe in punitive measures to educate anyone, but this guy could kill people in the future, I don’t know, feels like a dodgy decision. There are previous arrests, feels like maybe they’re going easy on him because he is one of them :/
