… seems like a lot, especially when considering how many most likely did not fill a census.
Usual suspects are all salivating for some figures to weaponise.
The 1851 census (I’m presuming) would have included the 6 counties, while the 2022 census did not. The direct population comparison is therefore incorrect, yes?
