Sugar is much more of an issue than caffeine. You think those kids would be gluging down a can of monster if it didn’t contain a weeks allowance of sugar?
Yes you do get products with the two combined but in my years I’ve never seen school kids ordering espressos.
My son loves coffee! If he asks then I give him a tiny amount from one of my 4 massive mugs that I drink a day.

Caffeine probably isn’t great for kid’s [sleep](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5359329/) and as a result their behaviour and learning outcomes, though.
