Happy birthday Roope Latvala, I appreciated you when you were in Children Of Bodom
Pašticada (I added egg noodles because the recipe I used pictured egg noodles) (beef & onions marinated in red wine & rosemary then seared, then stewed in tomato paste, marinade, & prunes with carrots, garlic, bay leaf, cloves, black pepper, & salt)
Buzara Mussels (modified, I thickened the broth more) (diced onion sauteed in olive oil, mussels cooked with white wine, thickened with breadcrumbs)
Sarma (steamed cabbage leaves stuffed with ground pork, white rice, breadcrumbs, egg, diced speck, garlic, parsley, olive oil, baking soda, sweet paprika, hot paprika, Vegeta powder (I substituted vegetable bullion), black pepper, & salt) simmered in diced sauteed carrot & onion, diced speck, sauerkraut, water, tomato passata (I used canned), black pepper, & salt)
Kotlovina (grilled pork neck marinated in vegetable oil, garlic, black pepper, & salt, grilled bratwurst, & onion, potato cooked in vegetable oil, white wine, sweet paprika, & hot paprika)
Haha if there wasn’t a Croatian flag sticked in, I’d never have guessed it’s Croatian food. But cool idea, was it tasty?
