  1. Thumbs up can mean both. On default, it’s a good thing, but it can be used as a sarcastic “good job buddy”. Sometimes when a car cuts me off, if I get next to them in next traffic light I might throw a thumbs up. Its funny since some of them realise the reason and they get defensive.

    Also yes, showing your palms or the back of your middle finger is offensive ~~and now illegal lol~~

  2. Thumbs up is fine.

    Open palm towards the other person is still considered an insult, but not that much to get you killed. I’d say it’s between “Malaka” and saying something bad for his mother/sister/family&relatives 😁😅

    Middle finger is also an insult as in most countries.
