    Within a couple of years unemployment was 3.5 million, some estimate as high as 6 million when all the various count fiddles were taken into account.

Journalism, policies and corruption are also getting increasingly worse towards what we see from the US right wing party.   23. if you wanted any more evidence on the right wing/tory control over the media this week is a perfect example, BBC,ITV,SKY even C4 have run anti-union, anti-worker hit pieces same for most of the major papers/websites. To be fair though the DM are riling up their reader base to cover the 2 by-election defeats that are likely today so standard deflection tactics are in play there.

  29. I disagree. At this point I think the sky is the limit when it comes to playing with the intellectually challenged and morally confused British electorate. You could run anything. I’d blame Corbin on a front page why not. See, you may think mocking online does something, but it really doesn’t. If they are running that headline, it’s because their intelligence is that it works at some level with the electorate or else they wouldn’t run it. This is a statistical exercise and nothing else. If their headlines are brutally stupid it means they know you are.

The fact the tories have managed to do all they have done -and I’m not talking about the last 2 years, I mean over the last decade- and yet they remain in power with Boris means that Labour isn’t working. The message isn’t landing. A brutal strategic rethink is needed.
