Was surprised to see the Ukrainian flag in place of the EU flag.
Most of the embassies of EU countries in Turkey have put up banners and flyers on their territories to show support for Ukraine and urging people to donate to humanitarian charities. The Polish embassy had giant posters hung up on the walls of it’s garden that showed the destruction caused by the Russian military.
irrelevant but shoutouts to the security guard that works there, he was really nice to chat with while i waited nervously for my appointment
