All 26 counties recorded population increases in the 2022 Census compared to 2016 Tags:ireland 11 comments That’s quick for census data to be released, is it? Longford be making babies during lockdown. Longford??? Could this percentage change be negative? I.e. people leaving? Irish people are having less children, it’s probably all immigration. Meath is blowing up. Hmm… it’s almost as if our immigration policies were written by a party of landlords Longford did surprise me a bit, but it’s a diverse mix of immigrants and copper thieves. How is waterford 9-10% yet there’s been feck all places to rent here for the past few years? Terrible. Everything is bursting at the seams Do we have statistics on where this increase is coming from? Is the birth rate still higher than normal due to pandemic pregnancies? Immigration? If so, EU nations, UK, or further abroad? Expats returning home? Primarily one of the above or a combination of all? Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
