Dairy Crest given record fine for Davidstow environmental offences

  1. The ea really need more teeth and inspectors, so many industries taking the Mick with their effluent treatment and removal.

    The fines need to be percent of yearly profit. Hurt the share holders payout and things will change

  2. All animal agriculture is high-polluting and the industry is responsible for a huge amount of run-off into rivers and lakes, causing algae blooms that destroy local areas in the process. That is without talking about the amount of energy put into the animals themselves, nor the GHG emissions the animals themselves produce. It’s impossible for animal agriculture to be anything but a detriment to the environment.
