What a terrible company, I won’t be buying their Cathedral City cheddar any more.
All animal agriculture is high-polluting and the industry is responsible for a huge amount of run-off into rivers and lakes, causing algae blooms that destroy local areas in the process. That is without talking about the amount of energy put into the animals themselves, nor the GHG emissions the animals themselves produce. It’s impossible for animal agriculture to be anything but a detriment to the environment.
Fuck Dairy Crest, fuck the Government and fuck DEFRA for not doing their jobs
