The only issue I have is that they still teach traditional characters. Just face it, the simplified ones are easier to learn and therefore better. Get over your pretentions.
Does Taiwan talk mandarin? Hong Kong mostly talks cantonese so I wonder if they’re mainly talking a dialect too
