A Madrid man has been changed with coercion involving the surrender of an animal.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies charged Michael T. Gilbo, 63, with third-degree coercion, Class A misdemeanor, following a complaint. Deputies investigated an incident that allegedly took place on June 18 at 241 Wilson Road, Hopkinton where Gilbo allegedly coerced another individual to surrender an animal in a township that Gilbo does not have authority.
He was charged and released on an appearance ticket returnable in Hopkinton Town Court at a later date.
