Tbf it’s not been hard for Lynch to make a lot of his interviewers look stupid since they’ve all seemed to have abandoned any pretence to objective and balanced journalism.

The whole BBC segment on the 10 o’clock news last night was just a drawn out rage fest full of journos around the country standing outside rail hubs and asking those affected to share their frustrations. Totally lacking in balance and red meat for those who are against the strikes and the RMT.

Personal highlights include Piers Morgan choosing not to talk about the strikes over attacking Mick because of his Facebook profile picture…. Couldn’t make this shit up. They’re absolutely Jonesing for some sort of gotcha and just aren’t getting it.

My only concern for him is Question Time dragging him into fields he’s not an expert in.
He’s a straight-talking man that clearly knows his onions on the RMT situation. A lot of his bluster cutting is applicable to many things, but he’s backed by the confidence of expertise.
For some reason media trained Labour MPs will not do the things which Mick does. 1. Call them liars to their face when they lie. 2. Plainly tell them they are speaking nonsense when they conflate seperate issues or ask leading questions. 3. Bluntly state he doesn’t accept the propositions they are making rather than trying to defend himself from them and getting dragged into a debate of their making.
I think we need Mick Lynch Media training for all opposition MPs urgently.
