The ban came after the royals became increasingly irritated with pictures of the disgraced former duke grinning on his horse as the Epstein scandal unfolded earlier this year.
He was told not to go horse-riding as it would be a “bad look,” for him and the Firm.
A source told the outlet at the time: “Since his arrest last week, he has been ordered not to go horse riding. It’s considered a bad look.
“They don’t think he should be seen grinning and smiling on his horse like he was in Windsor.
“But it was one of the few things he actually enjoyed doing so what on earth is he going to do with his time?”
Andrew was arrested on his birthday, February 19, on suspicion of misconduct in public office, but was released after 11 hours in custody.
He has always denied any wrongdoing.
Last month, he was seen at a public event for the first time since the scandal erupted.
Andrew was spotted at the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials alongside Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie.
