Really bad that there’s still racism (and that people deny it, rather than trying to address it) and that it’s in kids too, probably passed on from their parents or the internet. Actually, for myself and even some of the Gen X people I know (ie older than me), racism was way worse in school and then reduced dramatically after leaving school, probably because people can’t get away with it as much as an adult.
But that all that money was raised by normal people sends an important message to Raheem, which is that British society is mostly not racist and he shouldn’t hate or fear general society.
Poor boy. Some people are so sad in this day and age. How come the surgeon couldn’t reattach his finger?

He’s a really brave boy. I can’t even begin to imagine the psychology trauma all that racist abuse is going to have on him. Poor kid 🙁
You got to hand it to him though, he looks like he’s got that fighter spirit inside of him to overcome these horrific childhood incidents and grow into a determined young man who won’t take any crap from the troglodytes of the world who thinks it’s acceptable to abuse someone just because of the colour of their skin. Still though, I’m so mad on his behalf, I just want to know who could be so heartless as to abuse him or anyone for that matter with such vile racist abuse. If someone could just finger those nasty cretins to the public, I’d give them what for!
