Following his priestly ordination, he served as Regional Assistant for Franciscan Youth in Bangui from 2009 to 2012.
He later pursued higher studies in Rome, obtaining a Licentiate in Canon Law from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in 2015.
The Chadian Bishop-elect went on to serve as a teacher and director of the Saint Laurent University Institute in Bouar, Central African Republic, and as Secretary of the Conference of Capuchin Major Superiors of Central and West Africa between 2016 and 2019.
From 2019 to 2022, he served as Custos of Friars Minor Capuchin of Chad and Central Africa and President of the Conference of Capuchin Major Superiors of Central and West Africa.
He further obtained a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action in 2020 and completed a Doctorate in the same field in 2024 from the Université Catholique d’Afrique Central in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Since 2024, the 47-year-old Bishop-elect has been serving as a member of the College of Consultors of the Catholic Diocese of Moundou, Spiritual Assistant to the Franciscan Sisters of Donia, and Latin teacher at St. Mbaga Tuzinde Major Seminary in Sarh.
According to the 2023 Vatican statistics, the Catholic Diocese of Sarh has a total population of 800,000 people with 85,917 Catholics, which represents 10.7 percent of the population.
