>During the German invasion of the USSR, the Soviet Secret Police (NKVD) brutally murdered between 10,000 and 40,000 political prisoners in Western Ukraine over the course of eight days, which sparked waves of ethnic violence following the German occupation of the region.
Imagine the poor Ukrainians if they have to endure another Russian invasion and occupation
Given their history, if I was a Ukrainian I would fight to the death. It’s shameful we’re not doing more to help them
I think in 20 years it’s 40 million executed prisoners, and why not no one will check, there are archive data in 1941 all over Ukraine (in the USSR there was no such thing as Western Ukraine) 45569 persons were evacuated from 78 prisons, 48 persons were killed during the escape attempt, 123 persons were shot during evacuation, 53 persons were illegally shot, 3536 persons were left in prisons on occupied territories, 8789 persons were shot in prisons. They mostly evacuated (or simply released) convicts under the so-called petty crimes ( minor thievery, hooliganism, etc.) and shot political prisoners and those convicted of serious crimes.
Another psy-op from russia? why so many post about ukraine? trying to justify another war? r/europe mods should start monitoring that is happening.
