What a waste of time, money and resources. The heineken delivery truck should also be labeled a drug mule!!
> “There has been a 10-year interval where he has been doing well,” Judge Berkeley said.
“But we’ll soon put a stop to that”
Well, that about wraps it up for drugs then I guess.
European arrest warrant issued after 10 years, seems odd.
“A sentence of six years was imposed with the last two and a half years suspended.”
I wonder what kind of a sentence retired Superintendent John Murphy will get after having €600,000 worth of cannabis in his possession ?
6 years for 6kg of cannabis after 10 years of good behaviour and references from his employer? Why do I see lads in their 20s with 80 previous convictions walking around then? FFS
The examiner should be naming and shaming the Gardaí involved in this.
Judges have proven themselves to be on the side of armed criminal gangs and human traffickers, these issues can never be addressed as long as we have people like the Judge in this story keeping their illicit markets in profit we need to start addressing the problems with our legal system from the ground up.
