Few years ago I was working with a bunch of young guys in Oxford, early to mid 20s. They would have parties with young girls (18 and under I guess) from care homes. Referred to them as ‘slags’ and from other comments overheard I have no doubt that sex was their purpose.
Pass a local care home everyday in Cornwall on my way to work. Usually see a group of older boys/young men hanging around outside, usually carrying alcohol.
Apparently care home staff don’t have much power to control the kids under their care, probably not the resources and in some cases don’t have the will. Considering they are the go to place to get vulnerable girls I’m surprised no action over this seems to be taken.
