>Those who do not call themselves ‘*Turks*’, but instead “”*Turkish speaking Cypriots*”” or even “”*Turkish Cypriots*”” haven’t yet come to terms with the fact that the Turks who left the island as Ottomans have come back as the Republic of Turkey, and they won’t be able to accept this for a long time.

*^(My god, this dude is just oozing with)* ***^(bitch)*** *^(energy. And this dude used to be the Minister of the Economy & Energy? Lol. Lmao, even. And he’s currently the Minister of Public Works & Transportation: a.k.a do not expect any improvement in our public transport any time soon…)*

The response by a CTP politician was (again, not the full thing):

Now, don’t get me wrong; I find this whole thing to be absolutely hilarious. I am a *drama whore***™**^(©<13+>) and *love* seeing settler nationalists be put in their place, and *love* seeing my fellow Cypriots trashing this man in the comments…

But really? This whole place and our future with it is being dragged lower than hell, and this is the state of our parliament? I would love to consume this drama in more stable times, like the drama whore™^(©<13+>) I am, but we are *not* in said stable times!

  1. One would’ve thought the mic being cut during Erhuman’s talking-time would’ve been the breaking point, but I was already expecting and emotionally prepared for them to commit *that* lovely attack against democracy and basic decency….

  3. greece pulls the rope from cyprus toward itself, turkey pulls the rope in the opposite direction, 50 years pass.

    meanwhile we have “talks” and “negotiations” going round in circles because cypriots dont understand that they need neither greece or turkey to find a solution and be done with it. the cypriot politicians have no balls nor conviction in their beliefs, a pile of rat steamy shit
