Karen Krumenacher is the proud owner of Royal Roost and Fritter Bitter Farm in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, which hosts fun events like “Critter Yoga” and special events, including weddings. A couple was recently celebrating their big day on a farm when an unexpected guest made a surprise appearance. Just as the bride and groom were exchanging their vows, a turkey confidently strutted down the aisle like he was the star of the ceremony.
Instead of quietly moving along, the turkey, fittingly named Turks, stood there as if he had an important role in the wedding. Guests were left struggling to decide whether to watch the happy couple exchange vows or keep an eye on the feathered wedding crasher stealing the spotlight. Turks actually looked less like an uninvited guest and more like the self-appointed best man! You can check out the sweet video on Instagram.

Karen shared that she’d warned the couple in advance that Turks might make a guest appearance, and they were fine with it. It definitely gave guests something special to remember about their big day!

Funny Reactions to Turks Stealing the Spotlight
Like us, viewers got a kick out of watching Turks steal the couple’s show. @bea.ethridge pointed out, “I love that one lady trying to call him, and he just ignored her lol!” @brokenhearthaven replied, “He has an aisle to strut. Ain’t no time for autographs.”
Commenter @austin_jankowsky1 wondered, “Are you sure he’s the crasher? He could be security…”

@almallory95 said what Turks might have been thinking: “How can I make this about me???” @sarahbear3212 added, “At least he pulled up looking his best!”
Turkeys are naturally curious birds and can become surprisingly comfortable around people, especially when they’re pets like Turks and are used to having humans around. According to the Wild Turkey Federation, during mating season, male turkeys often strut confidently and fan their feathers in hopes of attracting an interested female.
Maybe Turks saw the wedding guests all dressed up for the occasion and decided it was the perfect time to shoot his shot.
