Can we scrap MUP? It was already the most expensive before that muck came in.

“Now”? Ireland was the most expensive last year as well before it came in.
Source?
Nearly died the last time I bought a pint in Denmark.
Just paid £7 for a warm can of Moretti in London
Just drink higher class liquor and you won’t notice the MUP. Sláinte!
Nobody piped up when they were bringing it. Fucked now.
It really is pathetic that I can buy a cheap return Ryanair flight to UK from Dublin or Knock, buy a litre of bourbon on board (at their marked up price) and still spend less than buying it at my local Tesco or O Brien’s….
Paid €14 for a Carlsberg in Oslo 7 years back
Unless you were drinking absolute shite before MUP, you don’t really notice much of a difference.
The banning of offers is a killer, the €10 off €50 in Dunnes used to be class with alcohol
Make your own!
Source? I’d be surprised if we’re higher than Sweden or Denmark
Well it is if you tax on it. Eamon’s own brand is tax free!
MUP is done, it is just a wierd sort of notion, NOBODY can explain it past a sort dog whistle concept to get poor people to drink less
Prices now have nothing to do with MUP. It’s all price gouging. Most drinks were already well above MUP and they all went up thanks to Tesco leading the way.
Only thing MUP stops is cheap slabs.
