Can we scrap MUP? It was already the most expensive before that muck came in.

  1. It really is pathetic that I can buy a cheap return Ryanair flight to UK from Dublin or Knock, buy a litre of bourbon on board (at their marked up price) and still spend less than buying it at my local Tesco or O Brien’s….

  2. Unless you were drinking absolute shite before MUP, you don’t really notice much of a difference.

The banning of offers is a killer, the €10 off €50 in Dunnes used to be class with alcohol

  3. Prices now have nothing to do with MUP. It’s all price gouging. Most drinks were already well above MUP and they all went up thanks to Tesco leading the way.

Only thing MUP stops is cheap slabs.
