Russia may be preparing provocations against Poland using captured Ukrainian drones, and the government security committee plans to discuss this issue at its upcoming meeting, according to RMF24.

According to Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the level of threat from the Russian side remains very high, and Poland cannot afford to let its guard down.
He also stressed that Moscow is gradually raising the level of escalation – not only in the military sphere but also in cyberspace and information operations.
The defense minister said that the issue of possible Russian provocations will be one of the main topics of the government security committee meeting, which will take place on Tuesday. The discussion will also address the protection of critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, and strengthening defense measures.
Threat assessment and plan of action
The meeting will also consider measures to strengthen defense capabilities and bolster related security systems, including the issue of cooperation between the armed forces and security services.
Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that Poland continues to record Russian activity aimed at testing the resilience of defense systems: testing air defense systems, affecting GPS operation, and hybrid operations in the information space.
According to the official, arrests carried out by the Internal Security Agency and the Military Counterintelligence Service demonstrate the unchanged tactic of Russia.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski also expressed the view that Russia could resort to provocation in the form of a false-flag operation, using Ukrainian drones to attack one of the NATO countries.
Against this backdrop, Poland continues to strengthen border defense and support Ukraine in countering Russia’s aggression.
Poland is also actively strengthening its defense capabilities in close cooperation with NATO allies and developing partnerships with Ukraine to counter Russia’s aggression.
Government coordination and strengthening defense capabilities remain key priorities in responding to threats from Russia and maintaining stability in the region.
