Is this “virtue-signalling” I’ve been hearing about? It’s amazing how many times you hear people on the right coin a term to describe their own behaviour and project it.
The worst school bully, the guy who made everyone’s life a complete misery, and had at least one child removed from the school by his parents, had the gall to share an anti bullying post on FB. The guy even lists HMP Belmarsh as his place of education. This is the same bullshit.
You can’t beat a bit of bully
Because her and the Torys run the same kind of disinformation playbook as the Russians.
Do one thing and then claim the situation is actually the opposite, or do something bad and claim your opponent actually did it or your opponent made you do it.
Bully someone while claiming to be anti-bully and pro-victim rights.
It’s doublethink, doublespeak and narcissistic.
She just saw the bulling bit and thought it was a medal
I always got the feeling Priti Patel touching something like this would be akin to Vincent Price being confronted with a crucifix.

A lot of bullies do not see themselves as such, especially when they do not use violence to bully others. Sticks and stones may break your bones but words leave deep scars that may never heal too. People like Patel never think they are bullies because they think bullying only happens on the school playground and involves gangs physically beating up a smaller kid.
The article includes a tweet that notes that Johnson plans to ennoble newspaper editor Paul Dacre. According to many an issue of *Private Eye*, Dacre’s nickname among his subordinates was (if I remember correctly) ‘Double Cunting’ (*sic*), because of his habit of shouting such formulations as these at them: ‘You cunting <something something> cunt!’ Nice. Not bullying at all.
If this state of affairs was going on in another country people would be outraged
She thought it was ‘Auntie Bullying’ and assumed it was her new name tag.
