A receipt a lot of restauranteurs and hoteliers in this country could benefit from viewing. Kudos to Helen’s Bar, Kilmackilllogue, Co. Kerry.
Food of the highest quality at prices that are hard to beat, and a real Irish welcome. It’s a long time since I paid less than €4 for a pint of Guinness too! Thanks to Helen and all at Helen’s Bar in Kilmackilllogue, Co. Kerry for the experience! We’ll definitely be back. pic.twitter.com/uoomjHzYW5

3.90 a pint of Gunness. When was this in 94
I know where we will be going on our next trip to Kerry…
Yeah makes sense when the bar owner probably owns the property or pays pennies for renting the property.
I’d say yiz destroyed the bathrooms with Guinness and seafood. Spare a thought for the cleaners!
Very close to me, great for a cheap pint.
This is a little gem of a place. It’s very isolated so wouldn’t recommend any one touristing about to try heading there and expect to get a taxi back to kenmare etc!
I wish no-one knew of this place.
It is my favourite.
And was, until now, a well kept secret.
I have never in my life seen a pint less than €5. That’s incredible.
There’d be some smell off your shite the next morning
On top of that it’s a lovely bar.
Pint on a summer’s day right out on the pier is unreal.
Bit pricy on the soup though
