Belgium has a 11,5 million population. Each year about 1-1,5% of the population dies from natural causes. So that’s about 110000 natural deaths in Belgium each year. Covid mostly kills people in that are at the last years of their life. So if Belgium stops all restrictions Covid deaths would account for about 4% of all deaths that year and it would mostly be the people that don’t have much time left.
This is either an admission that Covid restrictions are useless (idk why they added vaccinations to the list, it’s an entirely different matter) or the admissions that we have become so cowardly and so divorced from reality that we cant admit the fact that humans die when they are old and sick.
