PUMP THOSE PISTONS, YOU STEAM POWERED SON OF A BITCH!!!
Someone f5ing furiously for this one.
You think this is bad, ask him what he did during the great war.
can’t be calling him a tank these days, the fragile left wing don’t like hurty words
I love that this needed this the satire tag. As if redditors are that blind lol

wait…
In fairness to Thomas the Tank, it’s just the rail workers that are on strike, not the trains themselves.
Well, you can’t blame him after what happened to Henry.
I’m old enough to vaguely remember a Bobby Dravro sketch where Thomas ran over the Fat Controller because of some railway issue.
This may be the only good newsthump article
He’s alright, would only be the staff inside him that would be scabs
I didn’t lol but I smiled
[The engines have decided to go on strike. The station master came in. “There’s no trains, and people are saying this is a bad railway.” “Why can’t people just go somewhere and fuck for three or four hours” said sir topham hat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2a_gW1KvuFk&t=254s)
>Plus between you and me, I’m a bit of a Tory, so these Unions… urgh…”
Of course you are Thomas you dyed in the boiler blue cunt!
I love this 😂😂😂
If the Tories had their way, the same thing that happens to engines that aren’t ‘useful’ would happen to the strikers.
If only we could brick the RMT strikers up in a tunnel, like the fat controller did when Henry decided he didn’t want to work…
He is the favourite engine though. I bet he gets paid a lot more than the likes of Gordon or Percy.
It was always just male and Anna and Clarbel the carriages.
I mean, it’s a jokey retelling, but this was a thing that actually happened. Not sure why it was flagged as satire
Ok, I laughed. Nice one.
The really strange thing is that Thomas *was* a scab who worked his striking colleagues duties, and Percy was a strike-breaking agency worker brought in to do Thomas’s job.

There’s actually a rich history of investigations into the fascist undertones of Thomas the Tank Engine – including some pretty horrific punishment for not obeying the fascist overlords. It’s some pretty [terrifying stuff](https://www.newyorker.com/culture/rabbit-holes/the-repressive-authoritarian-soul-of-thomas-the-tank-engine-and-friends)
When did he get a girl train?

Thomas looks like a bootlicker

There was actually a story where Henry, Gorden and James went on strike due to a change in working conditions.
The Fat Controller moved Thomas and Edward from they respective branch lines and bought Percy to break the strike action.
