Rome Seymour was evicted in the summer’s second live episode by a 12-1 vote over Melody Morris, with the lone rogue ballot coming from Taylor Brown — not Lyric Medeiros, who was later seen swearing to Rick Devens and Angela Murray that it wasn’t her.
Why are these modern players so obsessed with unanimous votes? Not sure, but we hate it. That said, we’re loving Taylor’s stray vote. Keep ’em coming!
When the feeds came back, there was no HOH. Surprise! Mallory and Melody were already strategizing about needing to put Devens up if either of them wins. Dee was seen looking into the cameras, pleading with America to give Devens a power this week. “They’re coming for him,” she said, “but I will go to war with him.” Elsewhere, there was actual cause for celebration: Angela was finally freed from her egg suit, and the house threw her a little party for it.
Hours later, the feeds cut again and the eligible players (not counting Devens, the outgoing HOH) finally took part in the Week 3 Head of Household competition. As always, the challenge winner will have the power to change the game by nominating three people for eviction.
Drumroll, please. The Week 3 HOH is … Kamu Kirk.
The new HOH will have less than a day to name their three nominees for eviction — after conferring with alliance members, of course — before the house fights it out for the Power of Veto.
