In Latvia, two project competitions with a total budget of over 1 million euros have been announced, aimed at integrating Ukrainian civilians into Latvian society.

The Society Integration Fund (SIF) is implementing the program within the framework of the government initiative “Measures to Promote the Integration of Ukrainian Civilians.” The Government of Latvia has allocated €1,083,000 for implementing this initiative.

The goal of the program is to help Ukrainian citizens residing in Latvia adapt more successfully to life in the country and to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between Ukrainians and Latvian society. The implementation of projects is planned in all regions of the country.

That is why in the program administered by SIF, special emphasis is placed not only on integration courses but also on practical activities that promote cooperation between Ukrainian civilians and Latvian residents in all regions of Latvia
