The sandwich chain opened its new Lisbon restaurant at 143 River Road on July 22, an employee at the location confirmed. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offers in-store pickup, according to Jersey Mike’s website

The new location is running a special offer where it gives free regular subs to those who donate $3 or more to Make A Wish Connecticut. The fundraiser runs until July 26, according to a flyer.

Lisbon is not the only Connecticut community getting a new Jersey Mike’s. A site plan published by Regency Centers for The Dock shopping center in Stratford lists Jersey Mike’s Subs as the tenant for a 1,600-square-foot space in Unit 16 of the center’s Railside section. The unit formerly housed Fairfield Pizza, which moved to another Stratford location in 2025. No opening date for the Stratford location has been announced.

Founded in 1956 in New Jersey, Jersey Mike’s boasts more than 3,300 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Jersey Mike’s offers cold and hot subs made on freshly baked bread, kids meals, chips, baked good, drinks and catering, according to the company’s website. The menu includes items like the chicken salad sub, the cancro special (all-natural oven-roasted top rounds, provolone and a layer of pepperoni), Mike’s famous Philly cheesesteak, bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak and more.
