The French are infinitely resourceful when it comes to pressing their point about trade by non-tariff measures. There is the *work to rule* of customs officials, which can slow down traffic significantly. I remember when they made all Japanese electronic products go through a single port in order to protect domestic producers.
When aren’t they blockading or threatening to blockade?
