Mining firm Glencore pleads guilty to UK bribery charges

  1. Where will the fines be paid.

    They should be paying the fines and additional profits back to the countries where the bribes subverted the market… if not, I do not quite understand how the British government should benefit from discovering foreign illegality.

  2. In lots of countries this is just the cost of doing business. It’s not even really a bride when everyone knows it’s happening and it just makes people do their jobs, it’s no different to any licensing scheme or medieval monopoly…
