Asda says some shoppers setting £30 limit at tills

  1. Is Asda really any good for budget stuff? My local Asda’s veg section is tiny and overpriced for what it is.

And the frozen deals seem to be better at places like farmfoods or lidl etc. think it’s only the booze section which has some decent stuff tbh.

  2. I’ve just started half inching stuff. Noticed a lot of the scales at self checkouts don’t work anymore.

  3. “Some Asda shoppers are asking cashiers to stop scanning items when the till total hits £30” why don’t they just count for themselves as they shop? This seems very stupid although not surprising… the people who shop in my local Asda look like they would have a hard time counting all the way up to 30

  4. I’ve been doing it for years but i am a single person and £30 usually gets me everything I need. That said, I am kinda having to consider increasing my weekly shop budget to £40 due to everything going up.

  5. You gotta be pretty strategic about what order you put things on the belt them. Adds an interesting new level of tactical gameplay to the shopping experience.
