Yodel parcel company confirms cyberattack is disrupting delivery

  1. That explains the cryptic email they sent me earlier.

*Temporary suspension to Yodel Direct services*

    *Hi*

*We just wanted to give you a heads up to let you know that we’re currently experiencing some operational disruption impacting Yodel Direct Send services and tracking capabilities.*

*At present, we’re unable to accept new parcels into Yodel Direct stores and we have therefore temporarily suspended all services.*

*If you have already sent a parcel through the Yodel Direct network, this will be processed as usual, though delivery may be a little delayed. You can tracking your parcel [here].*

*Don’t worry, we’re working hard to fix these issues as quickly as possible and restore the great service you know and love.*

    *Thanks,*

    *Yodel Direct*

  2. Ugh, they delivered a parcel of mine to a collect+ shop on Monday, the merchant is now holding it hostage because he won’t get his commission since I haven’t been provided a collection barcode to scan, fantastic.

  3. My yodel delivery has changed to assumed deliveried.

Yodel and hermes are brain dead idiots. My flat’s front door is as obvious as standing on the Westminster Bridge and looking for the London Eye. But the fuckwits still managed to deliver my parcels several streets away.

  4. I’ve been waiting for a package but their tracking information has been down. It’s now back up and claims it was delivered two days ago.

So, great. No idea what’s going on now.

Having to go back to the sender for more information. And this package is a re-send of something that the last courier smashed to bits…
