And because the sugar water is easier to get, they will flock to the solution rather than forage for nectar.

Ahh, I did this before when there was a heatwave a few years ago. He wouldn’t climb on to the spoon so I placed it on the rock where he was laying. Dude lapped it right up and took off after two minutes. Felt good.
