A total of 115 young members of the Croatian Armed Forces have successfully completed a new eight-week specialist military training programme, the Ministry of Defence (MORH) announced.

Held at the Gašinci military training ground between June 1 and July 28, the course prepared recruits for a range of specialist military roles after they had completed basic military training.

This year’s programme was the first to follow a redesigned curriculum, reducing the training period from 12 weeks to eight weeks while increasing its intensity. The course concluded with a large-scale tactical exercise simulating modern battlefield conditions.

The training covered infantry operations, armoured and mechanised warfare, mortar support and the use of unmanned aerial systems (drones), reflecting the evolving demands of modern military operations.

Graduates will now join operational units across the Croatian Armed Forces, including the Tigrovi and Pauci brigades.
