  1. How about tackle all violence. People getting suspended sentences for almost killing people in public.

  2. How does throwing money at this help the issue, are they gonna hire more law enforcement or is this another pay rise for judges?

  3. I’d they really apply the zero tolerance policy across the board, does that mean every time the Wife gesticulates/points/throws her arms up at the husband she will be arrested for assault?

    Coz when ya think about it; it is assault isn’t it? How else could we describe it from a purely legal point of view.

  4. This is good legislation for potential victims in the future and almost every response here is “yeah but what about…”.
