Have you ever wished you had a voice on City Council decisions? Well, you have two weeks left to throw your hat in the ring.
Three Hanford City Council seats are up for election on Nov. 3: District A (currently represented by Travis Paden), District D (Lou Martinez), and District E (Mark Kairis).
Martinez has said that he is not running for reelection.
The window to run as a candidate closes on Aug. 7.

Kings County Elections Department administers the candidate filing process. Candidates also must file campaign finance disclosure statements, called FPPC filings, with the Hanford City Clerk’s office. They can be reached at (559) 585-2515 or ncorral@hanfordca.gov.
