  5. The country needs a serious clampdown on anti social behaviour. This kinda shit is happening day in day out in Dublin and Cork and it’s only getting worse because those scumbags know there’s no consequences. I don’t know why it isn’t a bigger political issue

    I’m going to guess the two racist junkies threatening the lives of people and their children are in the wrong but this is such a strange situation. Usually it’s not worth knowing what happens in junkie scuffles but this is so strange.

  14. Kudos to the security man, that should be shown in training video’s. Disgraceful there’s not a Garda on the scene or maybe the director of the clip cut it short as they arrived.

  20. Bet these lads have about 100 convictions between them. They are what is referred to as cash cows in the Justice Industry. They keep committing crimes and keep generating cash for the defending and prosecuting legal teams.

    We need to take sentencing for multiple convictions out of the hands of the justice industry who profit from not sending them to jail. Instead bring in a law that says for a fifth or subsequent conviction the criminal is automatically sentenced to the maximum jail time associated with that crime without any wiggle room from the judge. That way a judge cant keep the cash cow criminals on the street generating revenue for the barristers and solicitors (and their BMW dealers and Michelin starred chefs, and fine tailors etc)

A culture of long-term reliance on social welfare handouts, a sizeable proportion of the population born into poverty with no hope of securing a decent career, very dangerous and addictive hard drugs flooding into the country for decades, a serious lack of police presence in the city centre, and a total unwillingness by the ruling class (both political and judicial) to actually deal with the aforementioned problems in any sort of meaningful way… that’s what’s happened to our capital city!

  26. This is almost definitely outside of that Asian market on O’Connell street. The people working there have been nothing but nice and helpful to me. They don’t deserve to be treated like this. I hope they’re alright.

But in the near 20 years that I’ve allowed this shit more or less rule my life, I can honestly say I’ve never robbed, assaulted, ect anyone. AND I know others in the same boat as myself who would never carry on with this shit. Being a junkie doesn’t make you a scum sucking parasite, these fucks would be scum no matter what their lives entailed. WANKERS

  28. I got tired of this shit and left the country a few months ago. I live in Valencia now, the sense of relief being able to walk through a city with absolutely no sense of danger or sign of antisocial behaviour is such a gift. Dublin is ruined.

  31. I have to go to Dublin city 6 times a week for work. Every time I pass through, my desire to emigrate is increased. Honestly this country is just getting worse and worse. I’m tired of it.

  35. This racist, anti social behaviour is spreading like cancer in our cities. No mercy is to be shown to racist scrotes like this if good decent people, especially those subject to such racist attacks to feel safe. Their comfort and feeling of being safe in this country is worth more than 20,000 of these “people”.

  36. There’s no repercussions that’s why. Moved from Dublin to Krakow about 3 months ago and I never see anything even remotely close to this because there is actual punishment here for being a cunt. Both these guys probably have 50 previous convictions and won’t get anything over this.

  37. I was in a spar not far from there the other week and a similar gentleman, was aggressive, tried to attack a member of staff and while in the middle of his tantrum he early smacked a small child.

    No one did anything so I ragdolled him and just acted twice as aggressive as he was and he basically shit himself.

    People need to understand that all it takes in situations like this is for a group of bystanders to literally stand in front of them and tell them to calmly fuck off or we’re going to ask that any children in view are removed and then we’re going to kick you to death.

    People that act like this are scum and fucking cowards and only act that way because they assume people will let them.

    People talk about how children shouldn’t be bullied but collectively don’t seem to have a problem with it happening to other adults until it happens to one of their loved ones.

  40. This is the reason I’ll never move back to Ireland. My daughter is mixed Irish/Chinese and I’m so scared of her getting racial abuse or being assaulted.

    Also, the lack of any real police response, punishment or deterrent for this stuff is beyond a joke. Ridiculous

  42. Looks from this incident that working people are taking heed of the outcome of the Bento case. Use of weapons against this type of people will be a more regular occurrence now, because these zombies can potentially pose mortal threat if w people don’t defend themselves against their mindless violence. And there’s no justice to be had. Not saying I agree with this, in fact it’s absolutely bizarre.

  44. This is what happens when people from top tier universities who grew up in gated communities are allowed set policing and law strategies.

    I’ve one person I’m very close to who genuinely cannot believe why travellers get such hate.

    They’ve basically had no interactions with them so I guess it kinda makes sense.
