That’s the point of a strike, to force you to negotiate by hitting you where it hurts.
I hope the govt do cave in. I don’t like having to journey for 2 fucking hours to get into work.
But Boris would never cave… he is viewing this as his miners strike and is hoping for an approval boost when/if the strikers cave in. If he ‘wins’ then the vote of confidence will be forgotten and he will likely survive as PM for the foreseeable future
