I notice Network Rails chef negotiator is called Tim *Shovellar*. What a brilliant coincidence.
Staff replaced by agency and machines.
Every sector is like this now.
The sneaky bastards. They’ve had a rather generous redundancies scheme but maintenance was excluded for higher ups who wanted to jump ship some who later came back as consultants for inflated wages.
Willing to bet now it’s come to maintenance it’s significantly less generous.
Government- there won’t be any compulsory redundancies, that’s just union propaganda.
Literally two days later Network rail announces them.
